Applications Now Open for the Eastern and Southwestern Development Funds

Ontario is now accepting new applications for the Regional Development Program’s Eastern and Southwestern Development Fund.

The Regional Development Program, administered through the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, offers financial and advisory assistance to businesses, municipalities, and economic development organizations via its Eastern Ontario and Southwestern Ontario Development Funds. This includes providing guidance access to a variety of supportive services and resources.

Small and medium-sized businesses can receive grants to invest in new equipment and training to expand operations in these regions. The program also provides support to municipalities and economic development organizations investing in economic development projects to help attract investments to their regions.

To date, Ontario has provided over $150 million to support over 110 projects through the program, leveraging over $1.6 billion in new investments and helping to create over 3,000 jobs.

Applications will be accepted from April 11^th, 2024, until May 30^th, 2024.
