The Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade is pleased to announce that a new round of applications is now open for the Eastern Ontario Development Fund (EODF), Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF), and the Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) Stream under the Regional Development Program. Applications will be accepted from June 30 to September 23, 2026.
About the Regional Development Program (EODF/SWODF)
The Regional Development Program takes a coordinated approach to supporting business growth across Eastern and Southwestern Ontario. The program provides funding to eligible small and medium-sized businesses investing in new equipment and training to expand their operations. It also supports municipalities and economic development organizations undertaking projects to attract and grow regional investment.
About the AMIC Stream
The Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) Stream provides financial support to advanced manufacturing companies across Ontario through investments in capital equipment, technology adoption, and skills development. The stream supports manufacturers province-wide, including in the GTHA and Northern Ontario, and is designed to strengthen Ontario’s manufacturing sector and enhance the global competitiveness of our companies.
